Maharishi Vedic City has declared world peace to be an essential purpose of the City because the lack of peace in the world threatens the safety, well-being and progress of every individual and every government everywhere in the world.

Over the past six months the City has focused on establishing a Peace-Creating Group of 2500 people here in Maharishi Vedic City and at neighboring Maharishi University of Management through a perpetual Invincible America Assembly.

Fortunately the technology exists today to create permanent world peace. Many scientific studies have shown that when the square root of one percent of a population is practicing the Transcendental Meditation® and TM-Sidhi program including Yogic Flying at the same time then accidents, terrorism, drug abuse and other problems are reduced significantly, and increasing positive influences such as improved health, economy, and well-being of the individual and society occur spontaneously.

For these reasons the City is proud to host the Invincible America Assembly with participants from every state and 60 countries throughout the world. As part of this initiative there has been one major focus that when accomplished will assure that the Peace-Creating group being established here will be permanent. This initiative is the construction of a campus for 1050 Vedic Pandits from India. Recently more than 600 Vedic Pandits have come to the City and neighboring Maharishi University of Management raising the number of Invincible America Assembly participants to 1700. We are getting close to our goal of 2500.

In order to accommodate the next 450 more Vedic Pandits who will be coming over the next few months, an 80-acre campus is being constructed in the City for all the Pandits, so they can maintain their Vedic lifestyle while here in America. This campus is being built by Global Country of World Peace, a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation based in the City.
